Chartered Accountants Cork is run by a committee of up to 15 local members with 12 elected by an annual AGM ,a student representative and two co-opted Council members. The Committee elects a Chairperson, Secretary and Treasurer each year. The Committee is supported by a professional local Coordinator.

As well as the main Committee, the Society has four sub-committees as follows:

• Training, Education & Careers ( incl. CPD )
• Members’ Services
• Chartered Accountants in Business

These sub-committees are chaired by a main committee member and membership is open to any Soceity member who would like to be involved. It is a great way to be involved in activities without having to be on the main committee. It also allows members to be involved in an area that they may have a personal and professional interest in.
