Matt Cooper is Guest Speaker at Chartered Accountants Christmas Lunch

The Chartered Accountants Annual Christmas Lunch will this year have Matt Cooper as the guest speaker.  The lunch takes place on Friday 10th December in the Maryborough House Hotel, Cork and is expected to sell out as in previous years.

Matt Cooper is one of Ireland's leading broadcasters and journalists. He is the presenter of The Last Word with Matt Cooper on Today FM, with over 200,000 listeners daily.

Matt is also the presenter of live sport on TV3, following presentation of the station's rugby world cup coverage in 2007 with the station's live GAA Championship coverage in 2008 and 2009. He is also presenter of the station's live Tuesday night Champions League soccer coverage. He is also a leader page columnist with The Sunday Times and the Irish Examiner. A former editor of The Sunday Tribune, he has twice been Ireland's journalist of the year. His first book, "Who Really Runs Ireland?" was published by Penguin in late September 2009 and after receiving a long list of excellent reviews has become a best-seller.
